I wish I got this sooner! Earlier this year I moved from Zoho One to Microsoft 365 Business, and one of Microsoft's worst business tools is their scheduler. It has some pretty basic misses which TidyCal handles properly:
1. Time zones!
Microsoft can't seem to figure out Daylight Savings, but TidyCal got my normal business hours right the first time. No more manually checking and adjusting my business hours (or worrying about future bookings after DTS changes again!).
2. Booking pages
The only way to separate booking pages on Microsoft is to create a new group every time. TidyCal keeps this super simple with whether pages are public or private, plus whether they're in TidyCal's public directory.
3. Buffer times
This was the main reason I ended up switching to TidyCal. Microsoft handles buffer time by extending the meeting time in my calendar. So if I have a 30-minute call scheduled at 10am with 30-minute buffers before and after, Microsoft will create a meeting in my calendar for 9:30am to 11am. Although my calendar is effectively blocked, I ended up manually creating a second calendar entry for the actual meeting time--and losing the benefit of automatic schedulers. TidyCal handles this as expected, setting up the calendar entry for the actual meeting time and simply not allowing bookings during the buffer times.
Thank you for creating this and not having it as another monthly subscription!
