SmatLeads is a great tool for finding high quality leads. I've been impressed with the data sources and detail of information on each business that is returned in search results. The system itself is not complicated but intuitive and logical in its workflow from finding leads to engaging through cold email. The business reports generated give you great insight to understand what the business might need and reach out and offer your services. Their AI tool Marvis AI is very powerful and whilst I haven't used all the features that Marvis AI can assist with from what i have used, it's clear that you have AI help directly to support the services you want to offer so no need to struggle to write the content yourself. There are great training videos that help you with configuration and setup which also isn't difficult and the support has been responsive and very helpful when needed. 5 Tacos well earned!
Used Smatleads to run a local search of business in the area that I could reach out to offer marketing services. Within seconds I had leads complete with the ability to compose detail reports which allow you to further qualify leads. This works…I was actually able to land 2 client deals with the leads acquired on my first try. I think one of the best things is that you can customize lead research to your liking. But maybe the best thing is the support help you get. If you have any issues or questions support is very responsive! If you are a business looking for leads give Smatleads a try!
SmatLeads has become the central nervous system of my business directory. It finds businesses that meet my directory criteria, proves our value with data, and guides the leads from ‘maybe’ to ‘paid’ without manual follow-ups. My primary objective and ambition is to significantly expand and develop my business directory to a much larger scale. For quite some time, I was scraping data from Google Maps in an effort to unearth and discover valuable leads for my directory.
What I truly needed is this advanced, built-in CRM system to comprehensively track and monitor the progress of my directory onboarding leads from beginning to end. Features such as automatic tagging of leads and reply tracking are just a few capabilities that are indispensable to my operations. The sales CRM is uniquely designed and engineered to streamline, simplify, and optimize all aspects of our sales processes. It empowers and enables my team to manage leads more effectively, track interactions seamlessly, and close deals with greater efficiency and success.
The GMB reports and SEO reports have proven to be completely unreliable - then when trying to contact support, the support interface is having issue with the attachments. Nothing is getting done about the problems.
To top it off the offer details list a high number of monthly credits and yet they implemented a very small search limit after we purchased so there is no way we could even use the credits - they told us to get our own API keys… not sure what we paid for in that case.
Further clarification, I am not talking about the distribution of the credits. We were told we can only perform five searches per day for GMB, which is not reasonable for thousands of credits.

Support is pretty quick as well.
The ease in finding quality leads.... Being a solopreneur is hard and lead finding is my achilles heel. Smatleads is definitely making this easier for me you guys are great.
Customer technical assistance is relatively adequate. The software remains in early development stages, though a significant upgrade appears to be on the horizon
I have been signed up to this platform for almost 60 days purchased it on Feb 11, 2025.
I emailed support at SMATLeads and was told to practice some patience, which I have been.
In short, the results you get from this are pretty bad and unusable.
To say this is an alternative to Lusha is delusional.
The results data is duplicated. Hardly any email addresses and results can be sporadic and not as desired. No first name data.
Bing can only be used in the USA (didn't know this previously).
The results are hit and miss and we didn't end up using any of the results data that was generated.
Sorry to say that I will be processing my refund.
If anyone can recommend an alternative to this that works would be appreciated.

This tool is absolute garbage. I bought it to find leads, but it literally tells me to find leads outside the app. I tried using it for GMB leads — most listings didn’t even have emails. And get this… they actually suggest I just “save the lead name for now” and “add the email later” once I find it myself. Seriously?! If I have to do the work manually, why the hell am I paying for a lead gen tool?
I reached out to support, and they told me “most leads will be valid.” That’s a complete lie. I tested it with LinkedIn and got outdated, useless junk. Nothing valuable at all. Honestly, it feels like a scam.
And I’m convinced most of the reviews are fake. There’s no way this many people found value in a tool that does literally nothing it promises. It’s misleading, a waste of money, and shouldn’t even be allowed on AppSumo. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this one got me. I’m pissed
