Going to ask for a refund. There is nothing here that gets me excited. There are other options.
I was trying to create a Smart Page (i.e. an opt in/landing page). I encountered a few bugs/irritating functionality:
- Clicking on Save and Preview actually previewed without saving (I did see my changes in the preview, but when going back to the edit page my changes were gone)
- There are very limited options on fonts, colors, text size, etc.
- Cannot change the background color of the page
- No native way to add emojis (gotta be creative and copy paste from elsewhere)
- No easy way to create a customized URL for each Smart Page.
After creating my Smart Page, I wanted to create a Confirmation Page. After doing a bit of research, it looks like you cannot choose what goes on your confirmation page. In fact, it sounds like other people's products are advertised on your confirmation page. Why?
SendFox ist ein einfach zu bedienendes Email Tool. Leider muss man Kontakte, die sich einmal ausgetragen haben manuell wieder freigeben, da eine erneute Opt in Option leider fehlt. Die Auswahl der Möglichkeiten bei der Erstellung einer Automation ist für meine Zwecke leider nicht ausreichend. Schade. Daher gebe ich es leider wieder zurück.
Love the formatting options, and the fact that it creates smart campaigns that I can tweak and send my regular newsletter.
After being released for years, the product still feel like an MVP. Every single feature is flawed and filled with bugs in one way or another. More importantly, the product has not been updated for the last 2 years: they stop processing feature requests and customer inquiries, so you are completely on your own. You are better off paying for another service. Even if you are a small business/creator, the $50 LTD is not worth it because you will only use it for 3 months max.
So I went to delete my account, and they sent me an email to confirm.... but even the transactional email from sendfox.... ended up in the spam folder for gmail. If even their own transactional emails can't make it to the inbox, how are they going to get my emails to the inbox 🤣 You can't make this up. Also, the reason I deleted the account is because I had a book pre-sale that raised $30,000 in 30 days, but the email blast never sent because the SendFox system trapped all of my emails in the "Warming Up" phase until the campaign ended, costing me probably $3000 or so. I hae to be negative, but just as a warning to you all, it doesn't seem like this is a good product. TidyCal I like, SendFox.... not so much
I purchased the app, and I have not been able to use it. I emailed their support desk but haven't gotten a response yet. Each time I enter my address, I get the error message below:
"To send emails please first enter your complete address below to comply with CAN-SPAM laws."
Very discouraging I must say
Unfortunately, my experience with SendFox has been very disappointing. Despite making a valid payment, I was denied access without any clear explanation. What’s worse is that the payment was accepted even though my account was apparently flagged — which should’ve been notified before processing.
When I reached out for support, there was no clarity, and it felt like standard customer service expectations were not met. I even took steps to ensure the email list uploaded was fresh, verified, and cleaned (via Razorpay), yet the system assumed it was a repeat of previous issues without checking the data.
If no service is delivered, a refund should be the fair and ethical response. I hope AppSumo and SendFox take such concerns seriously for the benefit of future customers.
bought this product , and sent some email , and the next day , i cannot use it anymore. Asked for refund , nothing happen . Emailed to appsumo , "why do i need to pay for a product that i cannot even use?" No reply . Wasted my money. I have bought a few product in appsumo , no problem at all , until i bought SendFox! If you dont want to waste your money , dont get this .
I have had nothing but good things to say about send fox! After years of using the OTHERS I find that most people just want to send the occasional email and schedule them out. And with the RSS feed option, WHAT A STEAL OF A DEAL!
I recommend this to everyone, especially soloprenuers!!
